The marriage
is the patient.
Not two wounded people healed in parallel. The covenant itself is the unit being restored — spirit, soul, and body — after betrayal. This is the BRI Method, applied to the Christ-centered marriage in crisis.
For the woman asking whether her marriage can survive, whether she should stay, and whether his repentance is real — and not finding an answer that honors both Scripture and the toll on her body.
You have been told to choose between your faith and your sanity.
Secular trauma work asks you to leave the covenant out of it. Most Christian content hands you a verse and a boundary worksheet. Neither one is built for the marriage that has been struck at its root.
- Can my marriage actually survive this?
- Should I stay — and is staying faithfulness or foolishness?
- Is his repentance genuine, or is it performance?
- How is forgiveness even possible after this?
- Will I ever be able to be intimate with him again?
Three pillars. One covenant restored.
The universal mechanism lives at the BRI Method. Here it is applied to the marriage in betrayal — no asymmetry of pain: both broken, both in bondage, both heirs.
Spirit
Inner formation in the imago Dei.
- Identity in the Father
- Gospel order over self-protection
- Marriage as image-bearing witness
Soul
Mind, will, emotion, memory.
- Strongholds and imaginations
- Memory brought under the Cross
- Forgiveness without erasure
Body
Physiological & somatic restoration.
- Betrayal-trauma physiology, not therapy replica
- The Word tapped into the tissues
- Body as ally, not enemy
The capacity is not pre-existing in her. The capacity is being forged through walking through.
The work is for those the Lord is sending through.
The Wife
An heir being trained, not a casualty being consoled. Named for what the betrayal forged in her — not interrogated for what drove his choices.

A warrior being restored to his post, not a villain being tolerated. Forged through walking-through-repentance. Bowed, named, sent.

Air Potter.
Prophetic teacher and clinician-pastor. She built this application of the BRI Method on the marriage the Lord restored in her own house. Walked through. Now teaches the terrain.
“The marriage is the territory. We do not give people coping strategies. We retake the ground.”
