The BRI Method is the engine — Biblical Restoration & Integration applied to the whole person, spirit, soul, and body. This is what it looks like when that engine is turned on a Christ-centered marriage in betrayal: the covenant treated as one patient, not two wounded people in parallel.
One method. Many ruptures. This one is betrayal.
The BRI Method does not inherently require betrayal. It could restore an image-bearer after any formational rupture — abuse, fatherlessness, addiction, grief, ministry collapse. Betrayal is simply the first and sharpest application.

Surfaced pain and deep buried pain. Both broken. Both in bondage. Both heirs. The husband does not stand on the sideline of the wife's work; the wife is never interrogated for what drove his choices.
Repentance as a lifestyle, not penance.
Not an event, and not a debt being paid down. Metanoia — a changed mind, a new way of seeing. Persistent repentance is the husband’s permanent posture, the architecture of the man being restored to his post.
The body yields so the spirit can lead.
Spirit governs, mind is renewed, body yields. Somatic tools and betrayal-trauma physiology are instruments under the lordship of Christ, never competing authorities. We train the body to receive truth until the cycle breaks at the tissue level.
The Joseph Principle.
What the enemy meant for harm is the very ground from which the Lord forges the capacity. The pit, the prison, and Potiphar's house built the man who could govern Egypt. The testimony is the credential — capacity is forged through walking-through, not recovered.

It positions against trauma-as-identity and self-as-lord — not against the body or trauma awareness. Partner-trauma research, polyvagal-informed practice, attachment science, and moral-development theory operate as instruments under the lordship of Christ, never as competing authorities.
